The festival of Eid-ul-Fitr is celebrated with much enthusiasm and joy all over the world after a month of rigorous fasting. World Muslims greet each other. The day marks the end of the holy month of Ramadan, in which Muslims fast from dawn to dusk. The joyous moment of Eid-ul-Fitr comes through the great initiation of the month-long Ramadan self-purification. Eid brings us a message of joy, a great opportunity to gain the pleasure and closeness of Allah. The festival of Eid-ul-Fitr awakens our mutual goodwill and sense of brotherhood. Therefore, from the teachings of Eid-ul-Fitr, let us pledge to work together to build a united and loving society and country of justice, equality, unity, brotherhood, kindness, compassion, humanity and unity, free from all violence, hatred and violence.

So that no helpless and distressed people should go hungry, those who are well-off people should extend their hand of cooperation to them, so that poor people can also share the joy of Eid.

Today, on this holy day, let the eternal stream of peace flow in every home of Bangladesh. I wish this on the holy day of Eid-ul-Fitr.
